Dusan's last day at work - pizza for lunch. Drove after work to Noosa for a weekend away, bumped into Callie at KFC

Finished reading 'The Phoenix Project' reading in bed.

Drizzling when I walked home, traffic was really bad - walked by the police station this time. Finished reading 'The Phoenix Project'. Played sim racing, then made myself a late night cheese platter with leftover cheese from Grant and Monica's visit.

Woke up to AJ crying hysterically, then crawling out of bed and walking to the front door saying "door" repeatedly. Took him back to bed and got another hour sleep.

Lift to work - still too tired from the failed run yesterday. Came home to see pictures of AJ's first proper haircut at the hairdresser. Cooked chicken skewers, but pulled them out too early and had to recook. Then watched some Brooklyn nine nine with jjlirm

Breakfast at our place with dad and Tiz, had a chat to dad about my cars belt issue - he was really upset about the situation with Tim and Mum. Julie left to her craft workshop with Christina. In the afternoon we caught up with Grant and Monica (the Lawson's sent their apologies). First time we've seen them since the wedding 2 years prior. Went for a run - failed just past 24km near the powerhouse with my calf giving up. Ola'd home.

Mum came over, and we went out to look at cars for her. Drove around to a few dealers, then came home after narrowing down to a Golf. Drove to Joyner to see Dusan, Anna, and Maxim. Was there early, so helped Dusan with a shop. Eventually Luci and Geremy turned up, but I had to leave shortly after. Came home late to see Dave, Michael, and Carissa for an afternoon tea and to hear about their baby news.

Walked to King St to meet Julie at Brewhaus with her work colleagues. We picked up a messy AJ after his holi celebration. I changed the gearbox and diff oil on the 86 when I got home - took ages for the oil to drain down the thin hose. Picked up Chinese take away, and ate that over TV with Julie.

Another long day - tried to stay back as long as Gilles, but I was so tired I had to leave at 6: 30pm.

Long day, skipped run club upon request from Martyn as Gilles was on site.

AJ's second birthday - came home early, but Julie and AJ were still out. Played with the boy, showing him his fairy lights - then went for a run. First run since being sick, managed a sub 50m 10k Called Jared to talk about his job and next steps. Will help him there.

Gym after work, managed my first set of 60kg x5 seated overheads. AJ woke up and I spent a good 30m trying to get him to sleep in his own bed. Tried looking at the sky, hugs, many things - nearly got him there but had a CoE call and had to give him to Julie in our bed.

Worked on the car today, fit the intake, gearbox mount, and fixed the bumper attachment brackets. Mum, Jas, Laughy, and Tim came over for an early celebration for AJ's second birthday - he got a Pig the Pig soft toy.

Went to see some houses today - one place at Mitchelton had the owner, Walter, and old gentleman show us around. It was already under contract, but neat. I grabbed some lunch, and we ate antipasto as we watched the F1 build up for the Australian Qualifying. Julie went out to a concern tonight with Sal & John - who came in to say hello for the first time in ages.

Left work early to beat a crazy storm, had to wait outside Subway outside Julie's work. Picked up AJ, and got home to wet bedrooms as we left the windows open.

Stayed home to look after AJ who was sick. Drove to Toyota Kedron for bumper brackets, talked to the parts guy about his two drift cars. Went to Toyota Albion to get my car checked to see if they could do the valve spring replacement, they looked at it and are getting feedback from Toyota.

AJ was sick overnight, but we thought he was OK for care today - but Julie got a call today because he had a high temperature and picked him up. Called in to stay home and look after him tomorrow.

Julie picked up my c-spanners from the post office for me, so I had them when I got home. I used them to raise the car 3cm all around - which means I cna now jack the car up without needing planks!

Called Leo at the real estate and withdrew our offer on the Dunsmore town house. Went to gym, bumped into Dan from work there - didn't realize he went to the same gym.

Trip to Opa and Nonna - tried to play the Kinect on Xbox but we couldn't find a controller. Took AJ to the park behind dad's house, and used the electric blower to clean it.

Morning trip to DFO to new new shoes at the Nike sale - there was a line formed even though we arrived only 7 mins after opening. I got the Pegasus 35's I wanted - albeit, in camo design. Took AJ out to the museum to see the taxidermy animals - got a call from Leon at the Real Estate that we might have an acceptance of our offer. Went home - got confirmation our offer was accepted, and Leo dropped around the updated paperwork.

Farewell for Jason W at work - sad to see him move on. We went to range brewing near work. Still not drinking, so I had cola and lemon squash. The cola was smoked - it was not great.

Submitted the final contract to the town house. Received a call back from the agent, the owner wants in the 560's. Talked to Julie, and we agreed not to budge on price and keep looking.

We let the real estate know about the contract issues. We printed them off to send through.

We signed the contract proper tonight on Dunsmore, but found a spelling error on the body corporate document. Went online and played Overwatch with Laughy, started qualification matches and did pretty damn good.

Called and made an initial verbal offer on the town house on Dunsmore St.

Worked on the car, serviced the supercharger oil and coolant. Dave Foster came around, we drove to Alex's and had coffee.

Jassie's birthday at Elixir for breakfast - mum, Boyd, Laughy, Jas, and Tim there. Service was slow. Catch up with Dave and Vin for afternoon tea.

Walked up to Julie's work to pickup her car - then drove to pickup AJ. We both had chilli for dinner, before a shower, and then settling down into bed for books. Julie went out with work friends for her annual awards. I looked at some car stuff to buy over the weekend for servicing on the new car - then setup the sim rig to practice some driving.

Left home early - was nice to hear a big "Daddy!" from AJ the moment I knocked on the door. We played a little before he went to bed. We watched the second episode of season 6 of Brooklyn Nine Nine - where it shoes Scully and Hitchcock as young, successful cops. Read a little in bed next to Julie, before spending time on the computer checking out our finances and looking at property. We found a house at Newmarket we want to look at - but agreed to make an offer on the town house behind us if that doesn't strike us as amazing.

Run club - first time David Middleton came out with us, and he absolutely killed it for someone who hadn't run in a decade. Went back for meetings - then gym after work for leg day, and a walk home.

Left work early to have Julie pick me up. We drove to Heritage at Sprintwood to get a bank cheque for my new car - the red Toyota 86. We then went to the dealership at Underwood to pick it up. Rushed home in it, quickly put the plates on, then went to Queensland Transport at Toowong - just getting inside in time. Went home and washed the car, before going out for a drive up Mt Nebo with Alex.
