Digital Memory Palace

Long day debating the quality dashboard - we got there, but it took a lot longer than expected. 

Watched the AFL with Dave F - the Lions came back. Then my longest ride yet, 75km, while I watched the F1.

Test drove EVs with dad - Sea Lion 7, iX1, i4, and then looked at the Polestar and mini country man. Took the boys to the science festival light show - where they used lanterns to see animals. We had Japanese for dinner - then went to Southbank, with Kai running off across the casino bridge such that I had to chase him down. 

Long first session with Ann, Shalinee, and Sarah to start going through the flow of premium content onboarding and enrichment. They were shocked with how bad it is. 

Long session with Pete on modular player - and late call with Caz and the crew to lock in the premium list. 

AJ woke up to his new orange fat tyre bike that he loved. We had it decorated with balloons in the lounge room.  Hungry jacks for dinner - he insisted on the double cheeseburger. 

Very early start with a partner at 6:30am, only to find out they are in the Philippines and we could have scheduled a much more normal time. 

Went for a run - between the cool night air and Narendra Modi speaking about his childhood on the podcast, it felt so calm and spiritual, purposeful. Reaffirming my mantra of consistency 

Watched the first race of the F1 season while on the exercise bike after Nathan forgot the timing and couldn't make it over. Rainy race - most of the rookies crashed out. 

Took Dad and Tiz to dinner at Tartufo - they hadn't been to the Emporium complex before. Dad kept joking about Whale instead of Quail. 

Bought pasta ingredients on the way home instead of take out - watched the poor lady handle the prawns. Clearly she had never handled them before.

Got Rohan across the quality dashboard - still uneasyness around creating the dap, but Chris is helping there.

Very long chat with Alex, Caz, and Morgane - established a solution to get status table data in a good state. Ovich arrived - set it up between calls.

Feedback with EMT on engine - felt I did OK, but got the same old 'simplification' feedback. They at least understood the premature exploration thanks to the intro to the partner. 

Met Sarah - the new PM at work. Shared stories about cars hare, and went on for a while helping her onboard. 

The Williamson's came over as they lost power - we hung out and watched 'The Penguin' while winding down. 

The wind from the cyclone aftermath came and went in the night - with lots of rain, but it was otherwise ok Noticed the waterfall running down the cliff face on top of the fire trail.

Woke up on struggling to get out of bed with stress from work - had just built up between frustration on feeling like I was cut out, cyclone due to hit, and the kids home.  Was frozen - couldn't do anything, as I just felt stuck.

Session to review generation approach for metadata with COD - more questions than answers on experimentation and structure. Went for a run at night - the roads were incredibly quiet with everyone bunkered down for the cyclone. 

First API enablement session for the new stable API - didn't feel I did a great job of it. Was very unprepared and winged it. 

Caught up with Rea - she'd done a good job pulling together the CPs sharing data and the risks we needed to validate 

Quality showcase - deliberately awkward as we demod multiple variants of the dashboards to the stakeholders.

Eat St for Jasmine's birthday after finishing painting the fence.Took Kai to the tiny shipping container arcade.  We all ordered from the same Greek stall.
