Digital Memory Palace

Braved a daytime run - escaped the sun as best I could by running along the shaded path beside Enoggera Creek. Cooked BBQ ribs while I blasted Kendrick Lamar and Katatonia 

Skipped looking at cars to have coffee with Stuart. Heard about the upcoming visit to fat camp. Shopped at Aldi - pay pass was broken so had to shop again at Woolworths. Went to the Clark's - Brett had two outdoor TV's hooked up for watching the horses and basketball. 

Went to Oz Design after work to look at their sofa sale - they were all terrible so we ordered the slightly too big one Early Settler after much measurement. 

Attended the competitor tear down and voice of customer feedback - both were great sessions. Caught up with Webster again to sort out the certificate stuff with Pete 

Met Danielle from Workramp - got to hang after and share some Public API updates with Abhi on playlists and the stable release. 

Met the IPM team on site - first time I'd seen Webster and Shreya in person for years. Ran them through the product roadmap for content intelligence. 

Struggled to wake - was exhausted even after 9.5h Got the stable API release ready, but found some api issues. 

First time to Whitewater World - spent the day on rides with AJ, Evan got too scared when we went up the tower for RIP.

Nearly got stuck at swimming after an asshole nearly parked me in. Boys night at Black Hide - surprised to find Brewski had changed, but now had a rad little bar downstairs with velvet seats and cocktails.

Went to Umprocessed with Matt - sound was so so, but it was a decent gig. Really enjoyed Keyan, one of the supporting acts. They made everyone crouch down - it made for a great photo 

Late call with the CPSM team - ran them through the releases, got feedback, and felt good about the responses. 

Kick off on the native engine POC with the partner. Went well, although struggled with Paul's attention to detail 

Met Tiffany from Curation for the first time - she was lovely, and her daughter briefly joined us to give her a hug. Had lunch with Jenna, heard about the worries of her boy speaking and going to kindy. 

Finished the compliance metadata sourcing paper for the Curation team - started to bring the team into coordinating 

Took Kai to ride at Hilder Road park - his first time on the BMX track. He did well, but fell over and cried at one point. We played with the drone on the cricket pitch - as I ran after it. Picked up Al's computer from Umart, and spent the afternoon building it. Pleasantly surprised to see it booted first try.
