Watched the US F1 race - first race for Lawson since he replaced Riccardo. He landed in the points

Finished painting the left side fence - just. Ran out of paint at the end. Hung the clothes line up - struggled to get the tension on the lines. 

Bough fish and chips at Bardon, then went to Milton Park to eat with the boys. Discovered a huge playground, with lots of challenging climbing areas for Kai. We found our way through the dark and down the slide. Followed nearby music to Milton School fair - where we watched the start of the Trolls movie.

Realised that Shannon had left - ordered our own lunches (well, Sang sorted it out) 

Met Madga finally - briefed her into the team, 1content, and a bunch of other things. Went on to catch up with MK - was good to have a proper 1:1 and break through some assumptions around the stream. 

Finally caught up with Ricardo after his holiday. He'd been checking out where to live in Spain. Breifed him on the work stream. 

Soccer finals against a team in Orange that weren't John B's team. We played poorly, and they beat us convincingly. I stuffed my face with ramen with Dave and Tim after. 

Rallied the team around the Premium detection concern in the lake. My fault for missing it with the SKU transition work at the start of the year. Caz took point for next steps. 

The power kept cutting out through the day - called energex but they didn't find anything. Then everything finally died later - and they had to dig up and replace the cable that evening. 

I took Kai to the botanic Gardens and planetarium at Mt Cootha while AJ and Julie were at swimming. He counted lizards - we only found four, but he was aiming for five.  Took the family to see the Polestar, Mercedes, and BMW electric cars. 

Organised arrivederci pizza on the way home - stuck talking to dad about the Mercedes EQE range while trying to pick them up. 

Session with Viv and Chris on success metrics - suggested a few things, but they narrowed back down to latency, adoption etc. 

Kicked off the new value streams push for Q2 - felt it went OK, although I needed to give folks more time to speak up. 

First catch up with Alex Q from work - talked about how small the AU tech scene is. 

Took AJ to Alex's and hung out - before buying clothes with him at DFO. stopped and got him a Grimace shake on the way home - he was stoked about it.

Had Den and Maya around - Kai was too keen on trying to play with AJ and Bailey so ignored her. But warmed up as Den put the sprinkler on the trampoline. Watched the footy final with the neighbours on Kieran's driveway.  Kai was serving up pop corn to everyone. 

Went car shopping with Nath - didn't like the Kia EV6, but liked the BMW iX1 and Smart #3. Both were just had compromises on price, cost, range. He was enamoured with the sales girl who was a nerd. 

Well being day - picked up mum and went to the Star to check it out. We freaked ourselves out standing on the glass, then walked into town for lunch. Saw dad in hospital on the way home - he was just out of surgery and in a bunch of pain. 

Joined CF to do the online puzzle with the team. Had fun helping, but had to drop early. 

Went to the river bar to have dinner with the design team - hung out with Shelle as Henry coloured in. 

Caught up with Chris B for the first time we worked on Wizard. Then took a call on playability where Yezi finally linked up with the CF team - as I drove to soccer. 

Read the TechGether papers - messaged Stefano who send me a google slides link I couldn't open.
