Digital Memory Palace

Met with Seb for the first time from Blinkist - hard to gauge his thoughts, as clearly he was still annoyed about joining in under Jon. 

Coffee with Alex - first time seeing him in a month since his Japan trip. Talked to him about his temper and travel. Went to the house, and managed to get in using my key to turn the handle in the garage.  The cabinets and stairs were mostly in. 

Took the family to swimming - dropping AJ and Julie off, while Kai and I got coffee. I just made it back in time to see AJ ring the bell to go up into breathers. Went to the house - saw Kieran and Alexis with their dogs, and bumped into Alana and Chesca at the same time.  We couldn't go in as the cabinet maker was there. 

Picked up Arrividirci pizza on the way over to Nina and Al's, where Julie was minding the boys. I took the boys home to sleep - and played through Baldurs Gate. 

Session with Jake - where we shared what we were building on both sides for the Content Object - and we learned a lot more about the crawler 

Drafted the tech consolidation program - and got it all refined with Jon. 

Finished off our ISO tasks, so we could submit the evidence of the corrective actions through to the auditor. 

Did the Rustici planning - it took a whole lot longer than I expected, taking up most of my day to get it out. 

Buffet breakfast at Seaworld - we had to line up in a huge line full of bogans to get the buffet. Stopped at Daark Coffee before going to Paradise Country.  AJ did the opal mining, and Kai chased the chickens - then played on the playground, insisting he was a princess stuck in the tower. 

Dropped Julie and AJ off for swimming and picked up food and coffee at Paddington with Kai - watching the old women overly processed get their coffee at Merlo. Drove to Seaworld with the family, catching up with the Williamson's The boys kept on going on the banana ride - and I took AJ on the rescue boat splash down, which he loved. We had dinner at an amazing, albeit expensive, restaurant. The waitress was Latin and covered in tattoos - she had similar hand tattoos to Carolina

Picked up Nathan after work, and went to brew dog to have a beer and chat. Watched him and Jenny bicker about legal advice as Nathan's work - it was interesting to see their dynamic. 

Missed the thoughtworks session with Layla, as I was stuck trying to wrap things for work. Got the genAI update out with Michelle 

AMA with CRO Tony - I asked him some questions I was really interested in, but I think it came off as a little aggressive Totally unintended - I was just eager to hear from him. 

Late soccer game - warmed up in a skinny field by ourselves, and the shared a guiness and talked about pharmacy/doctors and the medical system generally being ineffective 

Came upstairs starving at 5:45 to see Luke warm snitchzel on the counter - and beans and carrots that needed cooking. I cooked them, then we ate together - along with chunky pork sausages and mash. 

Dad and Tiz came around - and we had nice salads and chicken I got from standard market. We watched Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny with AJ. He was laughing as people got knocked off things

Coffee with Dennis and Carolina at Gramps - spent ages lined up, then waiting for the bathroom after Kai pee'd his pants, then again after he insisted on peeing again. Met Geremy at the house with the kids to see the build progress - there was no ladder/stairs anymore. The new stairs were ready for assembly in the living room. Went to Diego's birthday party - met his cousin, then later was taught to salsa while drinking a dacquari. The house was shaking with the dancing. 

Dinner with Geremy after work - had overcooked tacos at Baja with a bunch of folks I'd met before, and Penny, who I hadn't. Went to netherworld after with Dusan to share a beer. 

SCORM migration work with the team - I got Chris connected to Silou to start standing up the environment. 

AMA with Jared - we had back channels getting frustrated at his vague answers. But we did get an office tour, where we could see he had a hatch in the floor. 

Session with Hai to close out his work on Fast Pass and plan our communication 

Got the risk management endorsement wrapped up with Laura. Iteration review for genAI - didn't get it done as we talked so much about the primary stream. 

Packed up, and left for the Tyalgum General Store for coffee and pies. Heard a kerfuffle - some kids stole something and ran out of the store. We made it home - and not long after AJ came out to tell us the TV in the bedroom was broken. Sure enough, Kai had thrown a car at it and smashed it. I whacked him good, and sent him to his room. 

We fed the horses carrots - with Kai being fearless with them. We went to the Tyalgum Hotel for dinner, with the boys dancing on the stage and AJ enjoying the find a word - as I talked to Christina on sustainable living

Finished up the report - then packed up the car to Tyalgum. Lunch at subway - with the extra cheesy sandwiches admits the high schoolers When we arrived we gave the twins their presents

Woke up to missed calls from CE - called him back to learn there was a major outage. Tried to get involved helping - but there wasn't much I could do to help. 

Sprint planning with CF - I really enjoyed the dynamic that Mark created with the team. They laughed and had fun during retro. 

Rushed to soccer to host daily stand up in the carpark - sat opposite the volleyball courts with my laptop on the passenger seat. Only Ben showed, so I cancelled 

Session with Lud on DP metadata - it felt nice she valued my input.
