Caught up with Matt F to talk through my concerns re: over investment in modular playback - drafted a PR FAQ on his feedback to get around the problem.

Caught up with Adam and Dalia at the Mitchelton halloween event. It was very busy, and we got stuck near the band while talking to Jacky & Dave - parents of Phoenix from AJ's school.

Caught up with Nathan and Slav at Alex's. Met Jenny's youngest daughter - then helped Nath check his brake fluid. Took the boys to Chermside in the afternoon to spend the rest of their voucher from Nina & Alan. I took them into the arcade while Julie got a coffee. Kai bought a huge transformer plane.

Marylyn and Prags were both in the office - Marylyn heading down to the Gold Coast 500. We had beer and caught up over the breakfast bar in the office. Marylyn shared her challenges with cancer and work hours over in the US.

Caught up with Jared in Brisbane - after earlier spending time with Drew/Margaret to give them feedback/thoughts on partner integration properties

Last all hands with Barnaby - played a farewell video with the 'So long and thanks for all the fish' video playing intro/outro

Shiv's last game at soccer before moving down to Armidale. Had three beers, and Jose ahoeed us he was actually a director of a TV show in Columbia.

Came home and watched the US grand prix - Alonso got air bourne in a crash, and Ricardo only just avoided finishing last 

Finally completed the rubics cube we bought while at Forster with Grandad. Went to North Lakes for Owen's birthday - Kai played in the play house, where Kim was sitting with the kids.

Gymnastics with mum - Kai insisted on playing in the ball pit most of the time. Fright night with Jas, Laughy, and Chris to see Tim perform. He did great, jumping out growling, and slamming the wall.

Caught up with Charles for the first time since I left the team. His brick wall has just been completed  First TPM catch up with Marylyn joining us. 

First time catching back up with Gabriel since I left the team.  Talked to Chris H in the evening, to unpack the portable learner profile 

Julie got the first retaining wall quote at $16.5k - seemed obsurd. Talked about it in the kitchen as we got the boys dinner ready 

Had a challenging call with Jared, followed by some feedback from Jon. Rushed to soccer - struggling to find Craig's house to pickup the jerseys. Dave F joined us for the first time.

Launched in Engineering Intake mechanism after doing the lunch and learn the week before.

Made breakfast for Simone as we nursed our hangovers - she drove me to pickup my car from Geremy's house

Had the boys put up their wall art that Chau kindly sent to me. First time jet skiing with Geremy and Tim - stopped at the powerhouse for a beer. Celebratory drinks at The Gap with The Grove - met a number of families. Rounded out the night drinking with Anthony, Kieran, and Alexis - wrapping up with a whisky sour.

BrewDog catch up after work with Jared - talked the challenges of his company, learned about his new house.

Ran the lunch & learn on the intake process - the role plays went down a treat.

First time talked to Alex M in forever - pretty much the first chat since Temando days. Talked about Middleton, the. Took his needs around the Dev environment.

Andy came around and did the first part of the electrical work on the wall - I sat outside - tucked in the corner of the brick walls working.

Emailed our neighbours to let them know about our relaxation - and read through the cut/fill and retaining diagrams for the first time. Looks like we need retaining on one side.

Test drive a silver Kodiaq - gave pata to a golden retriever at their house. They let me drive it by myself. Dave Boyle and Hugo came around in the afternoon - I was making him laugh, as we ate cheese and cake. I was bobbing above and below his belt on his rear facing seat, making him chuckle as I made silly noises.

Had a rough day on the toilet pooing after the night out with the guys. Shelle and Henry came over in the after - and we went for a walk and played and talked.

Dinner at Mama Taco - easily the best tacos I've ever had. The pork chorizo was amazing. After we stopped at the Jungle office on the way to Gerard's Bar. Geremy did a shit and played some comedian on the TV, where I wrote messages to everyone on their desk. 

Session with Ben to confirm the email restriction removal - hijacked my chat with Oscar. He asked us to pause our approach, which frustrated me - but I just descalated and told him we'd consider.

Recorded a video for the announcement of the Engineering Roadmap - tried slowing down to be clearer.

Went to work - there was some presentation on, I mustn't have supposed to be there. Jon asked me if the office was open.

Took the boys to the Alderley park, couldn't get a park in the car park - so had to park across the street near where the seafood van always used to be. Taught AJ how to climb the stack of blocks that had climbing holds.

Morning without the kids, went to the Story Bridge for pastries and coffee - toyed with the minor birds and turkeys who wanted our crumbs. Picked up the boys from mum and had fish and chips - witnessed a blow up as an indigenous man chased down a guy who stole his friends bike. Went to the block, walked the fire trail in the drizzle for the first time. Watched the Eels loose the final at dad's place, then hung out ans watched Wrexham with him.

Left Kai with someone else overnight for the first time - dropping him at mums for the night. Anniversary dinner at Montrachet - the fish was the stand out, along with the truffle butter and bread.

Had Vietnamese broken rice for lunch at work - it was stone cold. Went to the urban village to get beer after work - got 2x 4 packs on special, then say another 6 pack of Philter IPA on special for $12 when I got to the counter.
