First ever parent teacher interview. Looked at AJ's first writing sample, where he drew rain (squiggles) rather than writing words 

Had a black beer - tasted like burnt coffee. Then fought Godrick in Elden Ring - got him down. 

Indoor soccer semi final - three people were red carded after Luis was pushed over. I scored a goal with my face.

Finished a cut of the new platform first structure and resourcing plan we need for it - felt good to rally around a future org concept. 

Felt ill after the huge volume of food at Sono with Geremy. Played with the boys at home - Kai wore the cat boy mask

Coffee with Jared and Cooper at white Hills reserve - AJ made makes using dirt, water, and a stick.  Took AJ to be vaccinated at the convention centre whole comicon was on - Kai rolled around the floor.  Dinner with Geremy at Soho - spent over $500 on dinner, the most I've ever paid.

KFC on the way home from work - got caught in a really heavy storm that made it hard to hear Julie telling me what to order. Watched Spiderman with the boys after dinner 

Went to Dave's after work to pick up the PS5 and have a beer. 

Meeting at 11pm on the content onboarding challenges. Knackered after it. 

Met Tom from Singapore, then ran through a demo with a customer Fred - another Frenchman. 

Long day getting the new team tools/processes together using the Jira Discovery BETA - finished up the draft and sent it out. 

Went to Julie's mum fitness group friends place on Birdwood Tce. The back deck was really high, Kai kept running to get chips off the food table.  Later, the birthday girl tumbled out of the trampoline - I helped her up. Some kid vomited and a parent put a plate over it - then I talked it the Irish neighbour about Dennis being a crystal wizard and living across the road

AJ's 5th birthday - took him to Chermside arcade, and then went toy shopping. We waited behind a very fat down syndrome girl with her carer who was buying a card in front of us.  Went to the park next to Suncorp Stadium with the fig trees for AJ's birthday - and had the snake cake Julie made. Alicia and AJ sat on the top of the helicopter and I spun them around. 

Nathan came in and he told me about the feedback from his Doctors - and the letter of offer he has. I told him I support him either way 

Stayed up late finishing our PoC on the roadmap tool in BETA while Kai laid on my chest 

Had to tell Nath about his performance - later found out someone crashed into his car.

I heard Kai repeating a yell in the driveway in the morning - I went out to check as he just kept on doing it.  I found him in the pram with Ba Ngoi pushing it after dropping off AJ. He was awfully excited 

Drove to Chermside to sign the loan forms - but the bank manager wasn't in. We got the candy snakes and eyes for AJ's cake while we were there. 

Drove to mums - picked up an antenna from bunnings at Warner on the way. Didn't realise thy had a lifeline there. Got mums internet, washing machine, and TV all sorted. Didn't realise that FTTN uses the ADSL link on the modem. 

Drove to get groceries - the left escalator at Newmarket was out, so the had the right one going up, and we had to take the lift down.  Had to head there after Aldi - where I got the spiderman tent - after Aldi didn't have the chicken thighs with skin and lamb mince Julie needed 

Default off workshop - then drove Ben into the city for drinks and dinner with everyone at Corbett and Claude. We hadn't booked enough seats - but managed to get them to let us in, after we challenged 

Canapes at the Boom Boom room. Met the new Mark from SAP, and Kristina in person for the first time. Andrew and I talked delivery - he criticised for our reporting work, which I was very frustrated with as I couldn't respond to clarify without being cut off. 

Met Matt from work today - he flew in from Perth with Caz, and we met at the Plough Inn for drinks. 

Dinner with Jon, Matt, and Shelle at Gérard's. It was very humid - and I then drove Matt and Jon home. Surprised to find Jon lived. Just behind the church, off the main intersection in West End 

Home to mind the boys as Julie went to a book reading session at the school for parents. Managed to get both boys down to sleep in the bunk bed. 

Lunch with Jas and Laughy - then had a small round cake Julie bought for her birthday, that was unfortunately not gluten free. Laughy played Elden Ring and killed the first vendor. 

Breakfast at Kulcha - mum turned up to see the boys. I took Kai and we walked, and saw centipedes  Scotch at Tony's with Barnaby, Manuel, and Alan. Surprised to see Tony's wife was a much younger Asian lady who turned up towards the end upset that she lost her money at the casino. 

Picked up Barnaby and went into the office for workshops. Drove him and Manuel back to the hotel - with Manuel speaking French on a call as we drove through the city

Julie brought KFC for lunch - then I went and met Barnaby and had a coffee at the hotel. 

Dinner at Chermside tepanyaki for Jazzie's birthday. We had a giggly Japanese waitress with blue wrist straps that dad was goofing eoth He told me about buying a new M340

First time driving to/from work since the floods. Noticed a big queue for Hale St, only to find it blocked off and the lights out at Milton.
