Digital Memory Palace

Julie had an interview while I worked upstairs with the boys - Kai was half inside the bottom shelf of the bookshelf with his ipad playing cookie monster games 

Took AJ to JB to get a new set of joy cons - the colour he wanted wasn't in, so we picked another. Played with the boys on the driveway - it was the first time Kai got to play with his new red trike with scooter wheels - he rolled himself backwards down the driveway. Jas and Laughy turned up as they played. 

Walk to Southbank with the boys after Julie's vaccination at West End.  It was the first time the boys both played on the Brisbane sign. 

Walked to get my booster - forgot my mask and had to double back. Then bought cakes for Kai's birthday from Gasworks, and took them to New Farm to eat by the water, then play in the park. AJ then had his kindy graduation celebration in the car - with Kai losing balloons out of the window. 

Setup a monitor in the fish bowl at work m - saw Dan F was up from Sydney and said hello. 

Cooked a BBQ at dads while the mechanic worked on his new jet ski. Was disturbed in the even as we watched LOTR by the fireworks at the RNA show ground 

Watched them take the huge Christmas tree down at work - I was amazed they fit the long ladders in the tiny VW Caddy 

Went for a run and noticed people with lights near the dog park near the hospital. As I ran past - a girl stopped me terrified about a spider, asking me to help take a photo. 

Made the Lego trailer and buggy from AJ's gift - he did it mostly himself. I was really proud to see how well he did. Went to the roar game with Andy - first time their new house, their dog went crazy. 

Went to do park run - realised halfway there that I forgot my bar code, so I just ran along myself. Took AJ for a ride on his bike - he hung upside down 

EoQ presentation - presented for the division, but also for the first party apps and app insights teams

Met with the DNI team to talk updating explore - hiding elements with flags. 

Bought dumbells from the gym at the dog track. The guy insisted on shaking hands during covid. Picked up red rooster and had lunch at home with Julie 

Bas was up on a GC holiday - we walked with Thomas to have lunch at a kebab shop. Thomas talked about his mower being destroyed and the air conditioners failing. 

Geremy called today - wanted to catch up for lunch. I couldn't as I was in the last day of isolation.  My RAT test came back negative - so I can escape tomorrow 

Played with Kai as we listed to music/audio books on the solo 9c speakers I setup at the computer. He would swing on my fingers, until he couldn't hold anymore - then he'd drop onto his foam couch where I'd added cushions from the couch to make a softer landing pad for him. 

Setup the portable booster seat for Kai at the dining table - he really enjoyed it. 

Telehealth booking about my arm - had to take photos and send them through. Given the all clear.  

Full day of incidents - insights report and SSO challenges. Created a problem page for SSO.  

Went to nundah to get tested at the respiratory clinic. They were very efficient  

AJ tested positive - Jon from work was amazing and drove around two more RATS for us.  

First day back at work - went to the office, but no barista arrived. Had to have a long black tea bag.  

Brighton beach with the boys - after turning back at Newmarket pools. Kai was fearless with the water.  

First proper run since getting out of hospital - saw lots of trees down, including a huge one across the creek 

Dropped Julie off at work - then spent the day with the afternoon with the boys. Picked Julie back up - and we came home to make spring rolls 

Spent the day at dads - tried to stream a movie, but after that failed we went for a walk in the forrest 

Read Kai and AJ a book about Yoga in bed - they both then practised replicating the downward dog position on the bed. 

Doctor visit in the mall to check my arm - the doctors didn't keep their masks on, which disturbed be a lot. 

Went to see Alex - we drove to coffee at Belissimo then food at the American diner at emporium - after driving into the Mercedes dealership and finding their Cafe was closed. Talked at length about life and priorities 

Built my new drawers and took down my old ones - new ones are much bigger than before, and I now have dedicated sock and undie drawers

Went to Ikea at North Lakes and bought a new chest of drawers. Used my voucher to get Think Again from dymocks
