Digital Memory Palace

Shared my bagel with Jon and Sang over lunch - we talked about how the Amazon team did their optical work in the stores. 

Met Konrad at the office - had a coffee and talked Product with him. 

Made bagels with the boys - made a mini bagel that we fed Kai at Alex's Cafe as we talked to him and Bec 

Went to cloud nine cafe after AJ's soccer WITH mum, Jas, and Tim. Had two coffees - hot and cold. Dropped AJ off in the city for river fire, saw the two Apache helicopters bank overhead as I drove from the Barracks up towards the Normanby 

Talked to my mentee Nikita in the car as I drove to work - she got two job offers, which was great. 

Did a first product review on the Hub vision - it seemed to go well. I was really surprised that Margaret was on board 

Met with the partner in India and Ali to align on how we'd work together 

Created our kanban for the Content team - finally feeling like we're getting somewhere with pulling them together in the same direction 

Did my first product design review with the team - kicked off the Content Studio 

Got coffee at Let Minnow - Spotify couldn't find the corresponding song we asked for. The boys both played on scooters at Kalinga Park - Kai's first time on one. 

Took both boys to Billy's -they got cheerios. Kai proceeded to spit it out over the floor outside woollies. Afternoon home by myself - preparing the strategy on the deck. 

Watched the P&E demo's at the high table in front of the TV with the design team.  Met with CE for the first time in forever - ran him through my product vision to get input. It was good to chat to him - it had been a long time. 

Went to the prep info session - first time AJ ever went into a school room. He played with Lego, and I went with Julie to hear the presentation and the kids drumming 

Attended an incubator at 2904 with high school students. Helped them refine and focus on a problem to test 

Introduced Sarah to the team - the new Content Designer joining Nathan's team. 

Met Bec's brother Thomas at work - talked about his desire to become a developer. Made him a tea. 

Redcliffe kite festival - AJ enjoyed the drone game, and we watched a warbird do stunts. 

Trip to Chermside to find shorts while Jassie watched AJ at home. Julie went out for dinner and I looked after the boys. I fell asleep with AJ in bed, I was feeling unwell 

Drove to Pickup Indian after work - parked outside the gallery in a tight space. Had a hot vindaloo, first time having hot from Paddington Curry House. It wasn't that hot 

Second day of webinars - huge turn out and lots of questions for the morning session, but a stark contrast and next to no questions in the evening session. 

First ever webinars - didn't feel great about the mornings session, but the evening session was really smooth. 

Worked until just past 1am to get the last minute EMT presentation done, and prepare for the webinars 

Woke up early - couldn't get back to sleep. Watched the Dutch F1. Took the boys to the gym with Julie, first time dropping them off at the day care there. Had coffee at the racket club. For the first time - the boys played in the bush sink while Julie found plastic toys for them. 

Fathers day - got three mugs including a star wars mug.  Trip to bunnings, nodo, and onto supercheap with AJ. Went to dads in the afternoon to give him the car charger I bought him.

Afternoon hike up past Slaughter Falls to the top of Mt Cootha - AJ was still in his little kickers uniform 

Danced an African dance at the end of week call - drove home to find my new keyboard and snitchezel for dinner. 

Broke down crying at work in a booth after some harsher messages from Jon. Just let the week get to me.
