Had to wait too long for breakfast at the first place we found, had to go to a second. Really had my heart set on pancakes after Jon mentioned them - but the backup cafe didn't have them.

Walked out to see Rob's Mazda 6 over the other side of the road - drove home to Brisbane with Kai crying most of the way.
