Digital Memory Palace

For Jas to look after the boys and went to Rochdale display Village. First time without both boys in a while - felt nice holding Julie's hand to cross the road of the village and only care and think about her. 

Big day looking at display homes - drove to three different locations. Tried to poo at one but there was no toilet paper - went to drive off to find a toilet, but Julie gave me tissues. 

The structural change was announced at work - I'm moving into Product and Engineering reporting to Barnaby. Excited to learn from him and Jon, who's also starting on Monday 

Signed the contract on the land after getting the report from the lawyer. 

Was offered a new title at work - but of an odd one. Lawyer told me about the concerns with the land contract 

Had a call back from the police asking if we knew a Ben - stupid me forgot that was the locksmith that helped with the door. AJ showed me the racing train - with wings affixed to it as he was up late after a long nap

Talked to Andrew at work - he told me my new role and timing. I thanked him for the opportunity 

Went to GOMA to the motorcycle exhibit with Dad and Tiz. AJ loved the green screen bike simulator 

First day looking at open houses at Ellendale. Most were closed. The one we liked had a coat rack nook we liked. 

Did the AcdB model with Gary and Juliano to start working though a reporting business case. Got the contract from Anthony for the block 

Caught up with Sam from 3Dot - I invited her to the office for coffee after she reached out about the support role. She got lost down the lo G driveway next to the original building - i ran out as it was drizzling 

Got an SMS to say the offer on the house fell through - called Anthony about the land, and managed to secure Lot 19 at The Gap. Relieved to have it sorted.

Signed the offer on the Carina house - also got a call about land at The Gap. Told the agent we wouldn't move on price 

Talked to Juan about K starting on the team - ran him through how we use Jira/Confluence to do our Project Management activities. Spent the night stressed talking to Julie about the house.

Out for a run and bumped into Chris from work who was celebrating his Valentine's day with his partner Emma near the library at south bank 

 Stopped out at Camp Hill/Morningside to buy pies for lunch after looking at houses - then went to a Carina house near Bec's. We made an offer on it on the drive home.

First newsletter of the Agile guild - it was a great milestone 

Caught up with Diego and Roberto at Kelvin Grove Urban Village for a drink. The birds were really loud while we were there - but then quietened down again. 

Talked to Thomas on the couch - realised he knew Mandy at Griffith, told him about the work that Whiteboard are doing there and that they wanted me to join. He advised me to seriously consider it.

Re-enquired about the land in the estate at The Gap that had a body corp on it - the blocks we wanted were sold out. We'll keep looking.

Squash after work with Andrew alone after a meeting with him to debate a topic - managed to get a win in there. 

Went to Alex's - ended up talking to an old couple with a new Chinese ute about their purchase.  Finished our year compass and put it on the whiteboard in weeks, months, quarters, and yearly.

Looked at houses - saw one with an annex where the roof was steel and all rusted. Then saw a house at Mitchelton we wanted to make an offer on. 

Lunch with Evan at Getta Burger - talked about how Gitlab tackled API docs with Ben 

Took the 86 back to Diversion - throttle map changed, but the car is still meh. Drove home and could hear a sound from the wheel well. Pulled over and found tape on the tyre 

Finished the resourcing plan at work - and really got down when nobody could tell me my role before they said 'let's get it onto the executive' 

Found out the loan pre approval might not arrive in time for the auction for Keperra Filled it in - Julie will take it to work during her first day back tomorrow 

Got in the car after work - idle was bouncing up and down - took a video to send to Diversion as part of them investigating the issues of the tune.
