Kai's birthday celebration - Julie decorated Coles mud cakes with lots of chocolate and excavation equipment 

First day looking at houses on the south side - big line at the Carindale house with the Maserati SUV and Civic Type R in the driveway 

Looked at the roadmap for the year with the UK customer in their Trello board. Focused on the player 

Another pass of the structure today - got very frustrated with having to do it again. Emailed the mechanic to find out more about the concerns I'm facing. 

Dropped the car in to have the headers fitted and tuned - went to Capalaba Library before being picked up by Nath. Got the car back, it didn't feel all that great 

Last day at the coast - popped into Jon and Lauren's on the way back with cakes, and watched Jon build the loop for his new 3900 setup. 

Day around the pool at the beach house - a bunch of older Chinese people were singing and eating. They played with AJ as we cooked on the BBQ 

Saw Jon, Lauren, and Christina - the boys spent the middle of the day playing around the pool. Jon spilled coffee over his crotch and went home, the boys and Lauren played in the grotto.

Saw two houses at Keperra - interested in these second with the hugely steep driveway. Then drove to the Gold Coast and checked in at our beach house with the pool and grotto outside our balcony.

Argument with Thomas around the stand up table - then had a pad Thai that was medium heat, but way hotter than I expected 

Ran after work - really struggled with lactic acid as I ran along Enoggera Creek - came home to have a call with the UK customer to cover Mark on the Stripe issues.

 First day reading a chapter and doing weights outside for the year - nearly finished with `Management 3.0`

Worked until after midnight on the new resourcing and structure - after a tense day and an argument with Thomas 

First day with new Van at work - found John in the office afterwards, and helped him sort out some key items by cancelling some items for him the next day. 

Brunch for mums birthday where I made Spanish eggs - then to Alex's mums place for dinner. The place was full of stonework and antiques 

Went to dads for the evening - took our rissoles to cook, and helped him fix the washer pump on the falcon. 

Indian for lunch at work - the regular place cancelled beforehand, so we switched to Miss India which was terrible. 

Call to sort out how we'll payments with the UK  customer - had to cover for Mark for his wedding anniversary 

Talking to Nathan on the phone on my drive home from work - took on an S3 on the river side and smoked him

Girl in my team at work let me know she's pregnant - exciting for her, although I'm not across what we need to do from a HR perspective 

Worked on the new org structure today - had to work out of the garage and move things off the desk to make space. Walked to Ballymore and sat on the steps to unwind between meetings 

Watched 'onward' with the boys - then spent the afternoon working on my career choices. Serviced my bike and rode it along the bike way with a mask. 

First day of lockdown - had to wear a mask when I drove pick up the Indian takeaway 

Woke to find English.com launched Found out Qld is going into lockdown for 3 days again after a cleaner tested positive for the highly contagious COVID strain.

Had a 1:1 with the CEO - was a really good session talking about roles and future of the company. Something for me to think about

Left my house keys in my car overnight - had to unlock it with the spares, and then run back upstairs to drop the keys back after I took the car out. As I came down the stairs - AJ was telling me he was going to climb on the engine, and tried to climb up my bonnet 

Gym on the way home - couldn't find my pass so had to talk to the receptionist to get in. 

First day back to work - got a katsu curry for lunch and got the resource tiers projected 

Took the boys to Mt Glorious for a hike through the rainforest. It was muddy, and AJ fell over in it and got his legs all muddy 

Put the house back together after painting the balcony and touching up cracks the day before. Drove to Alex's to pick up figs from his mum 

Julie and the kids went to her mothers so I could touch up the cracks in the house - decided to finally paint the balcony railings in black to tidy up the tired look. Went out for a ramen dinner with Alex and Bec in West End.

New years eve at Sally's new share house - met Steffan after hearing Geremy talk about him for years. I drove Matt and Jess home to their Chermside place, having to move the baby seat over and squeeze them into the 86
