Digital Memory Palace

Reached out to talk to Todd Macfarlane-Smith on linkedin after noticing him view my profile. Talked a bit to him. 

Felt wrecked after work - kept working to 9pm, had a shower, then went to bed by 9:20pm Julie came across and we spooned while I talked about my day. 

Made eclairs to take to mums - first batch come out as small biscuits, but the second batch were better. Went to mums where she'd bought AJ a huge balloon of Chase from The Paw Patrol - we had to get Jas/Laughy to drive it back to our house

Intended to take AJ to Chermside to look at phones at JB after I recently killed my Pixel - but traffic was too bad, so I pulled off at the stand-alone JB at Kedron. On the way home I took AJ to the park near the Enoggera police station - I through leaves into the concrete drain from the cycle bridge, which really upset AJ.

Finished the legal review with our partners over in the UK super late - after they slacked me to remind me after a long day.

Julie talked to me when I got home - told me her mum doesn't want to move out to help us renovate. 

Went for a run - wore my GO1 hoody. Really struggled to keep up, had to stop twice for a breath. Called dad and asked him to come to the khanacross 

Got agreement on the project with the large UK customer - met the boss of the Product team who joined the call for questions. 

Thomas gave me a cheeseburger today - it was odd as I never asked for one and he just dropped it into my booth. 

Drop to Toombul to get a belt - couldn't find anything suitable between K-mart and Target. Went to Aldi to get a book for Julie - the lady in front tried to let me ahead, but I couldn't see how with the large new screens in place - so just said thank you and let her go. Got my belt at DFO - parked on the dirt on the opposite side of the road.

Drove to Alex's and had coffee with Christina - I followed AJ around the antique store and we pretended to hide at the front in among the statues. For dinner I made the first candlelit dinner since Kai came along - make butter searched sirloin steaks, duck fat potatoes (first time I'd used duck fat), roast pumpkin, and garlic and butter beans.

Finally got costs out to Pearson - what a relief. Came home and watched TV, Julie fell asleep while I watched road kill. Kai woke up, so I brought him out and he wobbled around looking surprised. 

Andrews asked for a coffee. I drove  out to get four coffees from simply beans with in my car - two in the central cup holders, and one in each door. 

Watched the last episode of Seinfeld with Julie - was finishing work on the Pearson spec while we watched

Introduced Julie to the calculations I had done on buying her mum a town house and us moving in. 

Introduced Sunlight to Pearson - drove home to eat Chow Mein, which I found out later from Julie is supposed to be made with mince 

Mountain run with Grant, Nathan, and Dad. First time I saw Grant's blue Golf, and dads dark grey XR8. On the road down My Glorious there was a Ute crashed into the railing.

Woke up to a broken screen on my Pixel - I thought it had died under warranty until Julie pointed out the tiny crack. Got the old Samsung S8 battery replaced while i figure out what to do.

Had to leave a call with Sunlight that went overtime to drive home - the family were all asleep by the time I got there. Julie came out later - and we watched the second last Seinfeld episode, where they do a recap of all the scenes from the show.

Drove with Chris to Simply Beans to grab some lunch and coffee - the first time in his car. Noticed his Mazda 3 had the heads-up display option

I was the last one in the office until close to 9pm - had a call with Sunlight. I'd just got off a call with Thomas - and he left to go home. Later on my call with Lara, I saw Thomas walk through the background.

Julie cooked vegetarian burritos with the filling cooked in the new stainless pot - I stuffed the first one while on a call, the second I ate cold on the couch after.

Got home to find the bins overflowing with hard rubbish - causing many of them to overflow. Had to drag them out to the street.

Painted the driveshaft marks where the exhaust had hit it - and also painted the split where the single pipe branches out into the two rear mufflers, where it was quite dirty and corroded.

AJ and I walked to Gia to get a coffee and a Tim Tam slice - before walking to the park behind Ballymore to eat it. I noticed the hair salon and checked if Julie wanted to organize a haircut - then took a picture of AJ next to a gargoyle-like face on an old brick fence. We pretended to be pirates looking for and burying treasure along the gravel path at Ballymore.

Ordered dinner from Paddington Curry House in the undercover parking at work - they told me they're moving to Milton, but couldn't tell me the address. Was intimate with Julie - after I felt out of breath and woozy, very abnormal for me to be out of breath with my running. I laid down on the floor just in case - but I was fine.

Came home and AJ came running out of bed to greet me - only to tell me he drew on the door. I asked him to show me, and sure enough - he had scribed on the back of our bedroom door. I told him he was very naughty - and he sulked off to bed.

Bought a Red Rooster $5 deal - and ate with Chris who brought his lunch in. Met with the Microsoft team for the first time to talk integration.

Raced a non turbo XR6 on the highway that was trying to start something. Blitzed him, but then he proceeded to drive really poorly all the way to the city. Layered up fully for a run due to the cold - long tights, t shirt, jacket, and vest. Really struggled for breath through the run.

Long day finishing the Agile Planning training deck for tomorrow - I'm pretty happy on how it turned out.
