Went to JB Hifi at Chermside Westfield and transferred my phone to a Telstra plan, and managed to get a Pixel 3a for $49 by using a $500 voucher they gave me, along with trading a cheap phone I bought from Target. Was a bit of drama, but eventually got there.

Setup the phone - and retired my Galaxy S8 in the process.
