Dads birthday dinner with Jas and Tim. We went to Shabu House for all you can eat hot pot. It turned into lots of snapchat filters and sillyness.

Final handover today from France - was a farce, so I cancelled the meeting.

Julie told me she might be pregnant again tonight - after also finding out the washing machine was going to be too expensive to bother repairing.

Talked to Nina about Ba Ngoi's situation the first time - she was distracted and outdoors somewhere. Our washing machine has developed an issue, the drum isn't moving freely. Julie's looking into repairs, replacement is our fall back

Went to Ba Ngoi's house to talk about her situation openly for the first time - at least we know how best to help her now.

Bought AJ his first scooter. Tried to play in our driveway, but he was more interested in running circles around the building. Went out with Grant and his mates for steaks at Blackhide at the Casino - watched his friends lose a fair bit of money on the poker and blackjack tables.

Late night in the office talking to Fred - finally got the all clear to talk about the FR transition out (3 working days before it happens - of course) Went home, and ordered Halim's Indian that I picked up from Rosalie. Then came home to watch Sherlock with Julie

Squash with Ben and Shaun - haven't seen them in a long time. Simon couldn't make it has he had hurt his back. Warmed up by myself for a while - didn't think they'd show, but eventually they did. Had a drink (Coke) on the deck at The Gap Tavern afterward.

Got a call - car is ready to be picked up after I took it back as the clutch wasn't feeling great. They took the gearbox out, checked and adjusted, and out it back in. Will pick it up tomorrow - hope all is ok.

Julie had Place Real Estate over today to do a valuation - no real definitive answer. Her mum also told us she wants to talk house and money, so we're seeing her this weekend.

Season finale of Game of Thrones with Julie - had to pause 30m in so Julie could pee.

Mountain run with dad, Nathan, Dave, Steve, and Nick. Had issues with my clutch, and Dave drove up over Mt Glorious. On the way back I drove Tiz's new M3

Dave and Hannah's Australian wedding celebrations at Christine and Greg's house. Spent much of the night with Grant and Monica, and saw Nick and Steve for the first time in forever.

Left work early to pickup my car after the valve spring recall - my god the new clutch is bitey. Picked up AJ early from day care, and spent the afternoon with him (although couldn't park in the driveway as a moving truck was in the way)

Got a call from Geremy today with some work he wanted me for, first time he's called me in forever. Send him my email to find out more details.

Listened to Freakonomics, loved the quote “Exitus in Dubio Est.” - “The outcome is still in doubt.” First day trying the HTC Vive for a GT3 race with the SimXP guys, did OK at first - then felt super sick and had to stop mid-race.

Door lock wouldn't open - had to ride my bike to Bunnings to buy a new lock, and then ride home to find it doesn't fit - although a piece of metal fell out of the old lock and it seems to work now. David Foster came over and dropped over my new Kingston Cloud X II headphones.

First day back at work after the UK holiday, rushed home to talk to Mark to debrief from Vietnam. Talked to Dad on the way home, told me about he and Tiz buying the M3 that they'll pick up soon.

Dennis and Carolina came around, first time I've met her. We had dinner together, talking about his journeys since last year and upcoming travel to Borneo

First day back at the gym - found a gold ring near the crossfit racks, that I turned in to staff there.

Landed in Brisbane, and Uber'd home from the airport. Went out for a coffee with Julie and walked around New Farm Park talking about my trip - before I dropped her off for a pamper day around James St.

Landed in Dubai - walked around a little, before catching my flight back from Dubai to Brisbane. On the flight the young girl in front of me kept throwing up, and needing medical help. They called for a doctor on the plane, who looked at her and thought she was OK.

Burger and gymnastics in Watford with Nina, Evan, and Enzo - before I left to the airport to fly home to Brisbane. Weather was bad, so was tossing up on train vs uber - went train, and had the first train I wanted to watch was cancelled. First flight took off for Dubai.

Dropped the suits back at Coombe Lodge to David, then drop back to London. Had to stop on the side of the road in Watford to pee - as I was busting. Took the car back - called Dave and Hannah to straighten out last night. Looked after Evan and Enzo while Al and Nina had a night out. We created a fort under the dining table, and laid there watching Peppa Pig on YouTube.

Dave and Hannah's wedding today - got my pants on at the Boyd family Farmhouse, then the rest in the room at the venue. Was a nice wedding - but upset Hannah at the end of the night by mentioning Dave's ex in an anecdote about pranks. Felt horrible about it, apologized to her and cried - had Dave's family console me and tell me it was OK.

Late morning, drove into Bristol to the Cabot Circus shopping area. Bumped into Albert, Kat, Nando, and Dave and shared a coffee. The went and bought Julie a gift - getting stuck in the spiral exit to the carpark due to traffic.

Drove to Bristol, rode quad bikes - Dave's brother in-law rolled the quad. After, we shot shotgun - where I shot very well. Checked in in Blagdon, then Uber'd into Bristol for Dave's bucks night. Ended the night with a cocktail with berocca, vodka, lime, soda, and tobasco.

Picked up the hire car, drove to Windsor to see the castle and walk around the city. Evening in with Al and Nina having Indian take out.

Walked to the coffee shop next to the playground with Nina, Enzo, and Evan - helped a lady in an electric wheelchair in the door. Watched 'Training Day' for the first time, chatting to Alan with a wine.

Got picked up by Dave and Albert, and we drove to Bedford to pickup the suits and have lunch. Came home, got ready, then went into town to have dinner and drinks with the Boyd family. Ended up at the top of the 'walkie talkie' building seeing the skyline of London, and having desert.

The Williamson's arrived back in town, and I got to see Mike and Sue briefly. In the evening I went to a board game bar, Draughts, with Robyn and we played Pandemic and Settlers of Catan.
