Sorted out car insurance today for the new 86 - Shannons, but it cost more than my Evo at $1260 Got a message from Geremy, told me he's doing work in Sydney - will try and catch up with him.

Lazy morning at home, mum came around after work and had lunch with us (fried rice) Jas and Laughy turned up to watch AJ, and Julie and I went to gold class at Newmarket to see Alita. Home, hung out with Jas and Laughy a bit longer - before washing the car and going for a run.

Picked up Dave Boyle, then went to test drive the red supercharged 86 at underwood. Loved it. Went to Mansfield to test drive another 86 which was like new. Dropped Dave home, talked to dad and got him to negotiate on the car. Took AJ and Julie to lunch at Newmarket for AJ's first sushi, got a call from dad confirming he got the car for $1k off at $23k. Paid the deposit, then home for a quiet night trying (and failing) to watch bohemian rhapsody

Picked up Julie's car from her work and picked up AJ for a boys night in. He really struggled to go to sleep, and woke up frequently as I tried to eat my leftover spaghetti - only finally settling for the last time at 9pm. Julie got home around 10 frisky and drink after Kakaoke with her work friends.

Drove to the Dave's (new owner of the Evo) to drop over the receipts and get my GoVia tag, chatted about the car - tyres, spark plugs etc.

Drove to Ormeau after work to see a blue turbo Subaru BRZ. Young guy, was too low, stretched tyres, front bumper falling off - was fast, but too far ruined with the modifications.

Came home early as Dennis had come over - first time he met AJ. We played, AJ went to bed, then Dennis and I talked - played the racing sim, then sat on the balcony and talked some more.

My new Ticwatch Pro arrived, and the Ticband for Julie. Used it for walking home, worked well.

Breakfast with Brett and Lisa, who I hadn't seen since their wedding near Samford early on in my relationship with Julie. Nathan came around - we had coffee, talked, and then I got him hooked on sim racing. Went for my long run for marathon training in the evening (28km) - fireworks went off as I climbed the story bridge, then I found that Master Chef was filming at the brewery under the bridge.

Cars and coffee at Jindalee for the last time out with the Evo. Bumped into Nathan from work, and met his wife and daughter. Went to Uncle Bill and Linda's place on the water at Newport with Nan, Grandad, Mum, Boyd, and Tim - Nan and Granded are up for her birthday on Monday. Spent the day lounging around, and playing on their pontoon with AJ next to their huge catamaran

Demo for DHL Paket today - Martyn gave us a day off and a voucher for the cinema as a thank you. Home for Halim's for dinner, where we watched Episode VIII: The Last Jedi

Went to boxing with Alex after work - saw his friend Josh for the first time in a long time. Had dinner with Alex, Slav, and Josh - with Slav going home with stomach cramps while we stuck around and ate at Vietnam house.

Had Dave turn up to look at the Evo, talked about it a lot - then took it out for a drive with him. Pretty sure he'll make an offer in it tomorrow.

Julie and AJ gave me a lift to Rydges at King St for training on Neuro Capability. Gym after work, no space for my usual stuff so did a weird chest machine that was tough at 83kg. Setup my sim racing rig at home with Julie's monitor propped up in AJ's high chair , connected the shifter and found 4th broken.

Came home early enough to play Lego with AJ Watched The Grand Tour review the Urus and do a special on Jim Clark. Listened to the first episode of Freakonomics on Bad Medicine

Went to the Brickhouse, met Bec for the first time. Afternoon at Freedom to look at desk chairs - didn't buy anything. Ran a 1:53 half marathon, had to take my shirt off halfway due to nipples.

Dad came around, he played the sim for the first time - and spent a lot of time making AJ laugh. Julie went to see Jersey Boys with Christina, I took AJ for his first trip I a boat in the form of a city cat. We sailed past the P&O cruise ship.

Difficult day with Dusan - upset him, and he went home unwell. Messaged him after to check he was ok. Gym after work, where i failed badly on deadlift at 110kg due to my grip - so spent the session working on grip strength.

Went out after work to Netherworld with Andy Barker from Magento/Adobe - ate, drank, and played videos games. Lost every game of Mortal Kombat to Marlsey

Dropped AJ at day care - wrong space it seemed, had to take him through the gate. Tried to get AJ to sleep by himself, so spent lots of time standing in the room. Took him ages to sleep, with many wake ups.

Talked to Nathan for the first time in ages as I walked home. Told me about Lewis busting his eye open. Gave Julie a watch as an early Valentines gift upon getting home.

Talked to Jason W at work today, found out he's looking to resign and move onto other challenges. Home early, came in to crawl around the Ottoman with AJ while we made dinosaur noises. Made some mushrooms to mix in with the pasta, then ate at the table next to Julie.

Went to Dusan and Anna's for the first time for breakfast - AJ and Maxim had a great day. Long run, broke the 24km distance barrier

Went to cars and coffee with Dave and Vin, waited for them to arrive so ordered us coffee. They had Morpheus with them. Kelvin Grove markets for fruit - left the bags behind the bar while I looked for Julie, then aldi for normal food. Jas came over for smoothies and Laughy and I played the racing sim. Went to Lone Pine with AJ for the first time, he ate some Kangaroo food. Racing with the SimXP guys for the first time, pretty sure Benny from MCM was on there.

Gym using my flip belt with wired headphones. Organized mum to go and check out the auction tomorrow. KFC for dinner.
